The SIF’s Young Social Entrepreneurs (YSE) 2017 programme will kick off with a four-day workshop from 15 to 18 March in Singapore. The workshop is designed to equip changemakers with the skills and tools needed to create a sustainable business with social impact. We are heartened to have received applications from many passionate teams of social entrepreneurs who have interest in addressing various issues, including: environmental, healthcare, education, cultural and social issues. The teams represent 39 countries and territories, including China, Cambodia, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam. Of the teams that have applied, we have selected 60 to join us at the workshop.
Join us at the YSE Workshop
We invite you to join us and our friends in the business of doing good at the Dialogue on “Partnerships for the Sustainable Development Goals” to learn and share, as well as to meet the aspiring changemakers.
Multi-stakeholder partnerships embody the integrated approach needed for driving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, seeks to encourage and promote effective public, private and civil society partnerships. To achieve such partnerships, we need to understand: What the SDGs actually mean for each sector, and how one can take action to make the global goals a reality?
This dialogue examines the relationships between the various stakeholders – government, businesses, non-profits and social enterprises, discussing how stakeholders can develop effective partnerships across sectors to achieve the SDGs. We warmly invite you to join us in this dialogue to discuss how we can work together towards transforming our world.
