The Countdown is On! Under the theme of “Renewable Energy and Shifting the Trillions: Making the transition to a net zero world a reality” the Foundations Platform F20 will host its annual signature event in the context of this year’s G20 Presidency of Indonesia.
The event will have a strong hybrid component to include international speakers and experts and aims to welcome a global audience at its virtual venue. There will be two thematical focus-areas which are
- Renewable Energy and Green Hydrogen – Making Net Zero a Race to the Top
- Sustainable Finance – Accelerating steep investments and new financing tools
The F20 Climate Solutions Forum is the annual flagship event taking place prior to the G20 Summit. The guiding question of this year’s F20 flagship event will be how to galvanise most actionable outcomes and increase mutual understanding of solutions for a climate-safe and just transformation?
Taking into account the multiple benefits of a cross-sectoral approach, each block will assemble stakeholders from politics and government, foundations and civil society organisations, G20 Engagement Groups and climate tech-oriented start-ups to embark on future-proof pathways.
