Asia needs USD 1.1 trillion annually to address the climate crisis. Faith-aligned organisations hold nearly 10% of global financial assets, yet for many faith-aligned funders and investors, taking action on climate can feel daunting and opaque. Too often, intent stalls before it becomes tangible action.
To mark the launch of How Faith-Aligned Capital Can Catalyse Climate Action in Asia: A Toolkit, this session brings together faith-aligned funders, investors, and practitioners to explore how conscience and capital can work together to drive meaningful climate action across the region. Through a moderated conversation, speakers will reflect on their own journeys from intent to action and share practical insights for others looking to do the same.
Participants will:
- Unpack how faith-aligned organisations across Asia are already mobilising capital for climate impact.
- Gain familiarity with the toolkit’s three pathways, aligning assets, investing in community resilience, and strengthening systems and collaboration.
- Understand where their capital, networks, and institutional capacity can make a meaningful contribution
