Aparajita Agrawal

Aparajita leads VFW on the strategic design of gender and business innovation, focused on financial institutions, investors and other SME ecosystem actors. She leads a team of Business and Gender Experts to devise new ways for organizations to adopt  gender-inclusive practices in their day-to-day operations. She brings over 19 years of experience in impact investing, social entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships and business development. She has a solid background in delivering impact projects at the intersection of business and development especially in developing markets like India, Indonesia and Kenya. She has previously worked as India Director for the British Asian Trust and as a Co-founder and Director-Sankalp Forum at Intellecap where she established Sankalp as the leading global platform for impact investing in South and South-East Asia and East Africa. Aparajita lives in Goa, India.
Jen Green
Gender and Business Expert,
Value for Women

Jen Green (she/they) is a NY barred lawyer and consultant based in Jakarta, Indonesia. They work as a Gender and Business Expert with Value for Women on providing research and technical assistance to startups, SMEs, investors and intermediaries. They specialize in complex systems, business strategy, innovation and poverty alleviation in SE Asia with almost a decade of experience in the region. Jen’s background in corporate finance and energy and infrastructure development have made them a valuable advisor and coach to companies and organizations focused on investment and impact, including how to use a gender lens to recognize and leverage business opportunities and strategies. Jen has advised various UN agencies, government-funded development agencies, social enterprises, funds and private sector companies including recently leading the Coffee Innovation Fund for GIZ and working with various start-ups and venture capital funds through Value for Women.
