Gender-Lens Investing: Theory and Practice
How a College Endowment Creates a Gender-Lens Investment Mandate
How much do you know about gender-lens investing? When did the concept start to be recognized as an approach to investing? How are asset owners such as college endowments thinking about investing with a gender mandate?
In this meeting we will hear from two panelists to understand both the landscape and challenges when translating investment theory into practice.
Julia Enyart will lay the foundation by walking us through an overview of the history and origin of gender-lens investing from her perspective as an Officer on the Sustainable & Impact Investing team at Glenmede, a private wealth and investment management firm serving high-net worth individuals, family offices, endowments and foundations, and institutional investors.
Tracy Gray (Founder/Managing Partner of The 22 Fund) will share the ups-and-downs of putting the gender-lens investment thesis into action as the Treasurer and Board Member of the college endowment at CSU Dominguez Hills in California.
Please note the meeting time is US Pacific 10am-11:30am / US Eastern 1pm-2:30pm / UK GMT 6pm-7:30pm / Central Europe GMT+1 7pm-8:30pm.
