Venture Philanthropy is a methodology which comprises of a high engagement approach to grant making and social investment across a range of social purpose organizations, from charities and non-profit organizations to socially driven businesses.
AVPN will provide a framework to the different issues that need to be considered to get started in venture philanthropy and introduce the capability development model (CDM), an organizational development road map designed around a set of five venture philanthropy (VP) practice areas to help members make sense of best practices in the sector.
