Applications for MAS Global FinTech Hackcelerator 2021 are now open till 4 July 2021.
The MAS Global FinTech Hackcelerator 2021 is a highly anticipated innovation challenge organized annually by Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), supported by Oliver Wyman.
This Hackcelerator is a great opportunity for FinTech firms to gain access to some of the fastest growing markets in Singapore and the region, and we see great promise in your venture to help solve key challenges in Green Finance. Up to 15 finalists will be shortlisted for a virtual programme where they will be paired with a Corporate Champion to develop customised prototypes, and each finalist will also receive a S$20,000 cash stipend and be eligible for a fast-tracked application for the MAS Financial Sector Technology and Innovation Scheme Proof-of-Concept Grant of up to S$200,000.

Information on Global FinTech Hackcelerator 2021
Last year, the Global FinTech Hackcelerator saw more than 270 FinTech submissions from over 40 countries. Finalists from past editions of the Hackcelerator have taken leaps forward in scale and creating real impact. They have gone further and beyond the Hackcelerator to work with corporates to pilot and scale their solutions. Many have also achieved commercial success – from raising millions of Series A funding to securing an IPO to having success exits via acquisitions.
This year’s focus is on Green Finance and accelerating Singapore’s growth as a Green Finance hub for the region. Industry leaders from across the world have submitted problem statements under the following categories:
