About this event

Impact investing addresses the social problems stemming poverty. Impact investing funds invest in social ventures which help address lack of education, health care , water supply etc for the benefit of the  lowest strata of society. Impact investing is currently in its infancy in India relative to the needs of our country. This event is also marking the summary   of the McKinsey Report which speaks of research data of Impact Investing in India.

Impact Investors Council (IIC) has grown in recent years and comprises of  35 prominent Impact Investors and Ecosystem Players- who are our members like – Aavishkaar, Caspian, UK Government’s  DFID, Elevar Equity, IPE Global, Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, Lok Capital, McArthur Foundation, Omidyar, YES Institute etc.  More details are at www.iiic.in
