Progress towards gender equality across Asia Pacific has been too slow, and has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. While governments and businesses respond to the emergency, investing in women makes smart economics by cutting across all socio-economic levels.
To move more capital towards women’s economic empowerment, AVPN is inviting Asia’s social finance community to a virtual Deal Share Live to learn from gender-lens practitioners and explore high-impact investable opportunities. Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Hear from four women-led social enterprises based in the Philippines, who will showcase their inspirational businesses and share some of the challenges and opportunities they have experienced as entrepreneurs.
- Interact with entrepreneurs through a live Q&A and have the opportunity to be connected with them after the webinar, should you wish to follow up on further engagement activities.
