Together with Ashoka and Brookbridge, our member, Swiss Re Foundation is launching the 2022-2023 edition of the Shine Program, which supports next-generation social innovators in translating their ideas and solutions into scalable business models to maximize social impact.
They are looking for early-stage entrepreneurs in India, who are trying to address challenges in the areas of Natural Hazard and Climate Risk Management (climate-smart agriculture, disaster risk reduction, Transformation to net-zero – e.g. renewable energy, afforestation, recycling, ) and Access to Health (including healthy nutrition)
The selected social entrepreneur will go through a six-month immersive nurture program during which they will be partnered with Swiss Re experts, leadership and business coaches to develop a financially feasible and scalable business plan that can have a tangible social impact. At the end of the Shine Program, the selected innovator stands a chance to win a financial award of up to INR 2000000 to fuel their growth.
