We are pleased to invite your esteemed organisation to participate in ‘Networking for Impact’ (N4I), a 10 day guided international tour to Europe which will include Brussels, London and Madrid.
This initiative is being undertaken by TTC in collaboration with Asian Charity Clarity (ACC) UK, and will host 35 Not-for-profit organisations from India. The tour shall provide the selected organisations an opportunity to share as well as inculcate practices followed in the sector along with networking opportunities.
The purpose of this tour is to help your organisation create effective linkages with other organizations working in Europe, strategic insight into successful models and connections with fundraising institutions and other players seeking to provide technical and financial support. Furthermore this will serve as a platform to showcase your development model and success stories.
This initiative brings together key leaders and representatives from organizations similar to yours doing commendable work in the social arena. Your organization plays an essential role in improving the lives of many communities, and we believe you will benefit from this opportunity and expand your impact.
We request your participation in this unique opportunity and sincerely hope that you will be associated with us in this initiative. The last date for applications is 15th September 2015. After you contact us, we will send you a registration form seeking basic information of the individual and the organization. Post the screening, we would request you for statutory documents and compliances. This will be followed by a due diligence process, following which TTC will communicate the confirmation of participation. There will be an inception workshop on November 5th 2015 to orient the participants about the tour details. The trip to Europe is scheduled to happen on November 26th , 2015. Some of the key highlights of the tour are:-
(i)A full-day face-to-face interaction with EU department leaders at the EU secretariat to understand the different sections of their development policy.
(ii)Visit to prominent Not-for-profit organizations such as King Baudouin Foundation and European Policy Centre to gain insights on recent trends in global and venture philanthropy.
(iii)Part of the Indian delegation to an international conference on venture philanthropy and social investment that will host 600+ organizations spanning corporates, foundations, high net worth individuals and not-for-profit organizations.
(iv)Interaction with members of the Asian Charity Clarity network.
(v)Fast tracking the registration process to Asian Charity Clarity to have better visibility and interaction with Global Foundations.
(vi)Supporting the registration process to Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) which is spear heading the mandate of Section 135 of the Companies Act in India.
(vii)Visit to other places of interest such as House of Commons, interactions with renowned Not-for-profit leaders, think tanks and other institutions in Europe.
