About this event

Each year, during its annual members’ Gala Dinner, the SVCA presents a set of awards to participants in the Venture Capital and Private Equity industry. Like past years, the awards will include candidates from the for-profit and non-profit world to reflect the increased participation and value created by venture capital and private equity in the worlds of both impact and traditional investment.

SVCA Annual Awards (Deadline: 31 July 2015)

Nomination for SVCA’s Annual Awards 2015 is now open! As in previous years, there will be 5 categories of Awards:

MOST IMPACTFUL NON-PROFIT/ SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
VC DEAL OF THE YEAR
PE DEAL OF THE YEAR
VC EXIT OF THE YEAR
PE EXIT OF THE YEAR

2015 Judging Panel & live polling

To ensure objectivity and impartiality in judging, SVCA Board Members are excluded from the judging panel. A world-class panel of judges have been selected for this year’s awards:

§ Mr. Chris Loh, Partner of Axiom Asia Private Capital Pte Ltd
§ Dr. Wong Kien Keong, Chairman of Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow
§ Mr. Yeoh Oon Jin, Executive Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
§ Mr. Willie Cheng, Chairman of the Singapore Institute of Directors

Judges decision will be final for the categories of:

VC EXIT OF THE YEAR
PE EXIT OF THE YEAR

In response to suggestions and feedback from members, this year’s Awards will introduce live polling by the audience for the following categories:

MOST IMPACTFUL NON-PROFIT/ SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
VC DEAL OF THE YEAR
PE DEAL OF THE YEAR

Live polling will be conducted at the Gala Dinner to determine the winners from finalist candidates shortlisted by the judging panel.
