Are you a skilled trainer and experienced IMM professional who wants to accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals? Apply today for the SDG Impact Standards Train the Trainer course to become an Accredited Trainer and help enterprises and investors adopt the SDG Impact Standards, transform their decision-making practises, and create the impacts needed to achieve the SDGs by 2030.
To scale up the roll-out and adoption of the SDG Impact Standards to businesses and investors, UNDP SDG Impact has partnered with Social Value International (SVI) to deliver a Train the Trainer course to individuals who wish to become Accredited Trainers for the SDG Impact Standards, and receive a license to deliver high-quality, consistent training and support on the SDG Impact Standards.
AVPN is pleased to announce that we are partnering with SVI and SDG Impact to deliver the first Train the Trainer course exclusively for our network of impact leaders. Delivered by two highly experienced trainers from UNDP and SVI, the course will equip trainers with the skills and knowledge to deliver the SDG Impact Standards Training to enterprises, investors and changemakers across Asia.
The Train the Trainer course is limited to a maximum of 12 participants to ensure a personalized training experience, so we recommend you apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Decisions about who is selected for the course will be made between SDG Impact and SVI and all applicants will be informed via email shortly after the deadline.
About the course
The training will run over a span of 4 half-day online sessions, between 11AM and 3PM (Singapore Time) from November 28 – December 1, 2022, with a shorter bonus session on December 2, 2022. The course will be delivered in English.
What to expect from the assessment
Following the 16 hours of training, there is a one-hour assessment for participants seeking the Accredited Trainer status. For this assessment, trainers will be provided with a set of slides and be asked to deliver a 40-minute presentation and 20 minutes of Q&A on the content of the SDG Impact Standards.
Why become an Accredited Trainer?
As an Accredited Trainer for the SDG Impact Standards, you will be able to deliver the only training program that is recognized by the UNDP to the market and be at the forefront of supporting individuals and organizations around the world to change their practices and create the impacts that are required to achieve the SDGs by 2030.
Not only will you be recognised as an Accredited Trainer for the SDG Impact Standards with a license to use the SDG Impact Standards Training Materials, UNDP and SVI will also promote your status and support you to deliver the SDG Impact Standards Training to the market.
You will also become part of the Accredited Trainer community; giving you access to continuous professional development sessions and new training materials – as well as opportunities to work with pioneering businesses and investors.
The SDG Impact Standards Train the Trainer course is for experienced IMM professionals and trainers who want to build their own capacity and work as part of a global community accelerating the adoption of the standards.
Participants will be charged a one-off training fee to attend the training course and undertake the assessment process. On the successful completion of the assessment process, participants will be charged an annual licensing fee in order to become an Accredited Trainer for the SDG Impact Standards.
Both fees are in accordance with the tiered pricing structure based on the income level of countries in which the trainer operates.
