Swiss Re Foundation, together with Swiss Re, Ashoka and BOOKBRIDGE, is launching the 2022-2023 edition of Shine Program, which supports next generation social innovators in translating their ideas and solutions into scalable business models to maximize social impact. We are looking for early-stage entrepreneurs in India, who are trying to address challenges in the areas of Natural Hazard and Climate Risk Management (climate smart agriculture, disaster risk reduction, Transformation to net zero – e.g. renewable energy, afforestation, recycling, ) and Access to Health (including healthy nutrition)
The selected social entrepreneur will go through a six-month immersive nurture program during which they will be partnered with Swiss Re experts and leadership & business coaches to develop a financially feasible and scalable business plan that can have tangible social impact.
In addition, at the end of the Shine Program, the selected innovator stands a chance to win financial award of up to INR 20 00 000 to fuel their growth.
