The Southeast Asia Regional Members’ Gathering is an opportunity for members from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and the Mekong region to connect with others in the region. There’s no better time for us all to take stock of where we have come from, who we have become, and how we must forge ahead. Every voice is critical. Let us listen, engage and co-map an ambitious, clear, and practical vision for our future of social investment in Asia for the next decade.

Members will have the opportunity to connect with one another in smaller groups during this virtual members’ gathering. For a more fruitful sharing and discussion with peers from the region during the session breakouts, you are encouraged to prepare the following:
- What are some great creative ideas and bright sparks that you’ve seen during this pandemic that have inspired you?
- What is one project that you’d be working on in the next 12 months? What help would you need from the community?
- How do you envision your market / Southeast Asia to be in 10 years? Where are the key opportunities in Southeast Asia for us to focus on in the next decade?

We are in a cycle of following and leading with our members. This is the source of our ability to facilitate ecosystem building alongside you. Together, we form unusual and action-oriented alliances that take us to the limits of what’s possible in social investment and impact. In celebration of our 10th Anniversary, which is on 5 December 2021, we have decided to focus on this cycle and make it very visible. We have many activities planned over the next year to engage with you, to capture and crystallise our collective vision for moving capital towards impact in Asia over the next decade.

As part of this effort, we are gathering your stories, pain points, lessons learnt, and impact goals, to inform AVPN’s strategic choices. Using a voting tool, we have seeded some topics that have arisen as part of our work, but you can also add your own. We will make this into an interactive infographic to share with you that shows you what is emerging from the whole membership. You will be able to see at any time which topics have the highest votes, and we will share the interactive infographic at the Regional Summits.
