With COP26 just around the corner, ClimateWorks is launching two new reports. One identifies leading policies and initiatives from Australian state and territory governments. The other identifies ‘best practice’ for corporate commitments and action, drawing on updating and drawing on analysis from the Net Zero Momentum Tracker project which has analysed Australian company commitments over the past two years.
Ambitious targets are just part of the equation for a 1.5 degree future. For decision makers in both business and government, the question is: how do we get there? The two reports highlight leading action so far in the race to decarbonise and what more needs to be done to keep 1.5 degrees within reach.
