This event is by invite only. If you are interested in attending, please reach out to dorothy.ching@avpn.asia or jenny.kim@avpn.asia.

AVPN is hosting a series of roundtables sponsored by Standard Chartered Bank. These roundtables aim to grow the impact-focused private wealth community in Singapore by sharing knowledge and best practices while building connections within the impact ecosystem.

This roundtable will discuss the ways in which family offices and foundations can be structured in Singapore. This includes various key tax exemptions and regulatory exemption available to the Singapore family office managing such funds. In addition, the topic will explore possible tax incentives available for the Singapore family office and provide a quick overview of the Singapore Variable Capital Company (VCC). This session will also discuss the NPOTI regime administered by the Economic Development Board (EDB) for non-profit organisations.

This session will explore the key considerations to note when thinking about setting up a philanthropic entity in Singapore, including a comparison between the common choices of charitable structures and the applicable regulatory and tax exemption regimes in Singapore.
