Despite progress, gender inequality remains a significant barrier to sustainable development, disproportionately affecting women and girls in areas such as health, education, economic opportunities, and leadership.
Hosted by AVPN’s Gender Equality Platform (GEP), this session will explore how gender lens philanthropy can drive systemic change by addressing the structural barriers that perpetuate inequality. Discussions will highlight the challenges women in Pakistan face and how targeted philanthropic initiatives, aligned with national policies and global frameworks like SDG 5, can empower women and promote broader socio-economic development.
