About this event

There is an imminent need to bring an intersectional feminist approach in the design, implementation, and governance of technologies in India, not only to prevent further harm and inconvenience but to also empower and provide agency to gender minoritized groups.

As the Young Leaders in Technology Policy Fellowship, we would like to push forward this conversation by featuring panelists who have been stalwarts in the field of tech policy and have paved the way for a more gender-sensitive approach to technology policy in India.

The panel ‘Tech Policy and Gender: An Intersectional Understanding’ comprises thought leaders Bishakha Datta, Brindaalakshmi K. Mahima Kaul, and Radhika Radhakrishnan. The conversation will delve into their experiences, and ways to propel a people-centric digital India.
