China Charity Fair (CCF) is the largest national level charity event held in China on an annual basis. The event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, People’s Government of Guangdong Province, People’s Government of Shenzhen and China Charity Alliance. The fourth CCF will be held in Shenzhen on Sept. 18th-20th at the Shenzhen Conference and Exhibition Center. CCF is expecting more than 1000 organizations to take part in the fair, including international NGOs, local Chinese NGOs, social enterprises and corporate CSR representatives.
The China Charity Fair has several parts to it including a charity gala, a charity project contest, a network and resource exchange platform for funders and non-profits, as well as a group innovation space. The last 3 charity fairs attracted a total of 3,493 organizations, connected 1,052 programs with a total of RMB 6.8 million (approx. US$1 million). The China Charity Fair platform is run by Mshan, an AVPN member.
This year’s Charity Fair will focus on providing a more internationally oriented platform, a more innovative resource exchange platform, a more interactive platform and a more influential public communication platform. Participation and registration to attend the fair is free of charge and can be done directly at their website: http://www.cncf.org.cn/
