AVPN is delighted to invite you to a 1-hour webinar, where we will share the ways in which we have worked with our members to engage with the G20 Indonesian Presidency this year. As we gear up for the Leaders Summit in November, and the eventual handover of the Presidency to India thereafter, we would like to share AVPN has served as a platform for our members’ voices at the G20 this year, to push forward G20 impact agenda in the areas of Sustainable Finance and Gender Equity.

Join us to hear from key partners and stakeholders on how AVPN has worked with the various G20 engagement groups, and how we will be continuing this work with the Indian Presidency in 2023. We will outline how AVPN plans to work closely with the G20 in 2023 and beyond, and the opportunities for our members to work with us to further the impact agenda.

Tristan leads AVPN’s portfolio of programmes, which include Policy, Climate Action and Gender Equality and aim to mobilise greater amounts of capital more strategically to address these critical issues right across the Asia Pacific region. As a part of this work, he has taken the lead in spearheading AVPN’s G20 engagement work thus far.

He has more than 18 years’ experience working in more than 20 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, sub-Saharan Africa and for the past 11 years in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining AVPN, Tristan led the British Council’s work in social enterprise and impact investment in the Asia Pacific region and was responsible for the flagship policy and government engagement programme which provided support to governments to develop impact economy policy and strategy South East Asia. He also regularly teaches and guest lectures on social entrepreneurship and social innovation in the Asia Pacific region and is an honorary lecturer at the University of Hong Kong.

Professor Bambang Brodjonegoro is the Lead Co-Chair of Taskforce 9 (Global Cooperation for SDGs Financing) of T20 Indonesia. He currently serves as the President Commissioner of PT. Telkom Indonesia Tbk and PT.Bukalapak.com, two main leading companies in technology in Indonesia. Moreover, Prof. Bambang is also appointed as the Chairman of the Economic Empowerment Agency, Indonesia Chamber of Commerce (KADIN). For more than 10 years, Prof. Bambang was appointed as the Minister of Finance, Minister of Development Planning and Minister of Finance, respectively. He served within the three cabinets of Indonesia’s Presidency. Prof. Bambang earned a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and currently is a Professor of Economics, at the University of Indonesia.
