World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) 2018, 6-8 November, Bali
Indonesia Agency for Creative Economy (BEKRAF) will hold the first ever WCCE to discuss issues and challenges in the creative economy industry. Join the conference on 6-8 November in Bali to meet representatives from governments, private sectors, think-tanks, civil society, international organizations, as well as media and experts in the industry. The theme of the WCCE is “Inclusively Creative”, with focus on five main issues; social cohesion, regulations, marketing, ecosystem, and financing.
BEKRAF is a non-ministerial institution responsible for the development of creative economy in Indonesia. It is in charge of assisting the president in formulating, defining, coordinating and synchronizing policies in the creative economy.
In this upcoming event, AVPN and British Council will organize a breakout session on ‘Creative Economy and Impact: Investments, Business Models and Beyond’ on November 6th from 3-5 pm. This session seeks to set the context for creativity in business models that bring impact and introduce the opportunities for philanthropic and impact investment community to supporting creative economies to create impact.
