Provision of primary health care and immediate COVID-19 needs to refugee communities in 9 camps that have had to bear a disproportionately greater brunt of the pandemic, and are also exposed to a higher risk of COVID-19 transmission.
Key Focus:
- Ensure availability of basic essential medicines, COVID-19-related medication, diagnostic supplies and PPE supplies to refugee communities
- Improve capacity of refugee health workers to provide quality health services to refugees
- Support the standardised health information system (HIS) in refugee camps and collecting and monitoring the health status of refugees, disease surveillance and outbreaks for early detection and response
- Establish field hospitals in each refugee camp to facilitate treatment and establish referral pathways for severe cases
