Vision
Building an Enabling Environment to Accelerate the Flow of Capital to Impact
AVPN's policy work fosters an enabling environment for social investment across Asia by reducing systemic barriers and creating public infrastructure so capital can flow more effectively towards meeting Asia's SDG needs.
We intermediate between policymakers and capital holders, engaging governments, multilaterals, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), impact organisations, and the private sector on the policy dimensions of blended finance, sustainable financing, AI adoption, and strategic philanthropy.

Policy Leadership for Impact in Asia
Asia Partnership for Investment into Resilient Economies (ASPIRE)
Asia Partnership for Investment into Resilient Economies (ASPIRE) is a multi-stakeholder initiative that seeks to build and activate a coalition of Asian philanthropies, DFIs, governments, and private investors to co-create a regionally grounded development fi nance agenda.
ASPIRE aims to operationalise solutions through three primary levers: policy unlocks, data infrastructure, and platform development. By supporting governments, investors, and intermediaries in building the enabling systems necessary to mobilise blended and innovative finance at scale to Asia, ASPIRE aims to catalyse scalable, people‑centred fi nance for climate action and the SDGs in Asia

AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific
The AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific is an initiative led by AVPN with support from Google.org and the Asian Development Bank, with the objective of supporting workers across Asia Pacific who are most impacted by workforce transitions that are driven by AI.
As part of our policy engagement effort under the Fund, we are actively working to cultivate an enabling policy environment by convening cross sector stakeholders to facilitate meaningful discussions, uncover collaboration opportunities, and generate actionable policy recommendations tailored to each market to promote responsible use of AI, and improve AI learning outcomes, adoption, augmentation and workforce readiness.
Through the Fund, we have organised local and regional policy convenings in selected markets, such as South Korea, Singapore, India, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Australia.
