The Asia Foundation has worked in Thailand since 1954. In cooperation with partners in government, civil society, academia, and the private sector, the Foundation promotes peaceful conflict resolution, encourages citizen engagement in the political process, promotes access to information and supports innovative programs that help to build more responsive and transparent systems of governance throughout the country.

The Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) Foundation

APNIC Foundation acts as the ISIF Asia secretariat, hosts the administrative functions and technical infrastructure for the fund, and continue as a contributing partner in the grants fund. APNIC (Asia Pacific Network Information Centre) Foundation is an open, membership-based, not-for-profit organization. It is one of five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) charged with ensuring the fair distribution and responsible management of IP addresses and related resources. These resources are required for the stable and reliable operation of the global Internet. As part of this service, the APNIC Foundation Secretariat is responsible for maintaining the public APNIC Whois Database and managing reverse DNS zone delegations. APNIC Foundation is also actively involved in the development of Internet infrastructure throughout the region. This includes providing training and education services, supporting technical activities such as root server deployments, and collaborating with other regional and international organizations.
