Child Rights and You (CRY)

Founded in 1979, CRY– Child Rights & You is an Indian organisation working to ensure children their Rights to Survival, Development, Protection, and Participation. Since our inception we have grown into an institution that has transformed the lives of more than 2.5 million children in some of the most deprived, marginalized and inaccessible areas of the country. We have done this by working closely with 300 grassroots organizations across 23 states, 150+ districts, 3400+ remote villages and urban slums. We thus look for both scale and depth.
Our dynamic strategic approach covers a wide range of deliverables, starting from taking direct and immediate actions to address the critical needs of children, mobilizing and empowering underprivileged communities, activating systems and policies, advocacy, capacity building and to creation of networks and building strong alliances.

The Indian School of Development Management (ISDM) is a pioneering educational institution looking at building the discipline of Development Management, establishing it as a profession and building an entire ecosystem of Development Management professionals. We believe that the impact, sustainability and scalability of the development sector work can be improved substantially if technical abilities and available funding are complemented by good quality and relevant leadership, management talent.

To strengthen impact of the development sector on society through professional management and leadership

•To establish Development Management as a separate discipline with its own body of research and experience based knowledge which is used to prepare future generations of managers for development
•To establish Development Management as a profession in its own right and a critical component for the success of the social development sector
•To develop an entire development management ecosystem consisting of a unique body of knowledge, world class faculty, renowned advisory board, passionate and bright students, continuously engaged external stakeholders who appreciate and absorb our students and an active alumni body
