PeoplePods Philippines

PeoplePods is an impact venture addressing the lack of healthy housing near industrial parks in the Philippines. Our company provides dignified and sustainable dorms for female industrial workers. Our projects lease space to employers and we take industrial park developers as strategic partners. PeoplePods has a 32-room Pilot in Malvar, Batangas. We are also currently building the Philippines’ first residential to receive regulatory approval from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority to build inside a PEZA zone. Demand for this second project (inside the Carmelray 2 industrial park) from MNCs inside the PEZA zone is significantly above the 420-bed capacity.

Toybank – Development through Play

About Toybank – A world where all children are empowered through Conscious Play™.
There’s a dearth of quality childhood experiences affecting at-risk children’s mental well-being, learning outcomes and socio-emotional development, impeding their chances for a better future. We at Toybank, since 2004, have been providing safe and happy spaces for at-risk children to be developmentally on-track with their mental and behavioural well-being through Conscious Play™. Our play approach, cognizant of its impact on children’s well-rounded development, is mindfully curated through safe, engaging and joyful Play2Learn Sessions conducted at our Play2Learn Centers.

LooLa Adventure Group Pte Ltd

LooLa was crowned Singapore’s most sustainable SME in 2016 and 2017, and the world’s most responsible tourism operator in London (2015).

When our cook’s 1-year-old daughter died on account of bad sanitation at her home, it propelled us into action. So in 2016 we used our eco accolades to put together an alliance of our guests and world-class universities + companies to (cost)optimize a rural sanitation system pioneered by UNICEF.
In 2019 we successfully completed this project; the result was called the Safe Water Garden (SWG).

A few months later, the Indonesian government recognised the SWG as part of its national standards, *making the SWG officially the world’s most cost-efficient sanitation system*, and putting safe sanitation within financial reach for everyone.

Our aim: to get safe sanitation to every villager in the world.
How? By taking key enabling steps these coming 12 months.

Cuddles Foundation

Malnutrition is one of the main reasons for reduced survival rates amongst children with cancer: A study from AIIMS, New Delhi, pegged undernourishment for child cancer patients at 30-40%. The prevalence of malnutrition in children with cancer, reaches 50–70% in some regions of the world and is a significant cause of decreased survival especially in low-income countries.

The dismal survival rates and a lack of focus on nutrition gave birth to Cuddles Foundation in 2013.

Since inception, we have partnered with government and charitable cancer hospitals that cater to underprivileged children to provide them with nutritional support during their treatment. Till date, we have partnered with 33 hospitals across 20 cities in India. We place highly trained nutritionists in these hospitals who counsel the patients and provide a diet plan which aims to give every cancer afflicted child a chance to build immunity, strengthen the body in order to significantly improve chance of survival.

Marine Innovation

Marine Innovation has developed alternatives to plastics and wood with eco-friendly sustainable material using marine algae.
Innovation means a new idea. Our innovation is to seek out alternatives to plastics and wood that we rely on. It’s urgent to find alternatives. If you’re looking for other eco-friendly materials, with many plastic alternatives being developed, there’re options out there. However, they’re not long-term solution or not the best way to address alternatives to single-use plastics.

We have the solution with 100% green sustainable natural plant fibers and what we look at through is ALGAE. Our innovation is we have the technology. And with the green sustainable raw material, we have already launched our first ranges of seaweed-based products such as bio-plastic grocery bags, egg cartons/trays, bio-plastic cups, disposable plates and paper cups out of seaweed extract and byproduct.
