PUMPKIN PLUS is a new generation agribusiness company founded by the innovator of “Sandbar Cropping”. The company has evolved with Mr. Nazmul Chowdhury, fueled by the ideas of the eminent economist E.F. Schumacher, “Small is Beautiful” and his visionary thoughts on “How to help others help themselves”.

Following this philosophy, Pumpkin Plus’s vision is to transform traditional agriculture from a charity-based approach to a producer-led commercial agribusiness model by encouraging women & youths as future leaders. Simultaneously, we conduct R&D for new innovations in the farming system and food processing for value creation. This allows us to develop a community-led market and knowledge generation hub, for others to replicate the innovations and empower the extreme poor, whom are struggling with food security, income and unemployment.

Siel Bleu India is a Social Enterprise working in India to provide Adapted Physical Activities for vulnerable older adults. We are affiliated with the Siel Bleu Association, France.

National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM) is Southeast Asia’s first non-profit organisation that offers rehabilitation services for stroke survivors and support to their families. We are strong advocates for ‘There is life after stroke’, and firmly believe that post stroke rehabilitation is critical in ensuring that every stroke survivor can return to as normal a life as possible, within the limitations of their disabilities.

Our long-term goal is to make rehabilitation accessible to as many stroke survivors as possible. NASAM’s Primary aims are two-fold – to improve the quality of life of stroke survivors and their families and in the long term, and help reduce the risk of stroke through stroke awareness and prevention advocacy. Since the founding its first centre, NASAM has grown significantly through the support and generosity of Malaysian corporates and the public. It has spread its wings to 7 other centres in Penang, Sabah, Ampang, Malacca, Perak, Johor and Kuantan.

In short, NASAM’s mission is to:

1. Make rehabilitation accessible and affordable to as many strokees as possible
2. To inform the public that “There is Life after Stroke” through proper rehabilitation
3. To educate and empower the public to recognise, prevent and recommend treatment for stroke patients

At Cleanergy Tech Solutions, our mission is to empower farmers through sustainable farming practices. We offer an affordable, ready to install biogas plant for farmers. Our brand is “Kisangas” – Kisan means farmer in India.

Fuel and soil health are two most critical factors for sustainable farming. The Kisangas plant produces clean fuel in the form of biogas, covering farmers’ needs for the next 15 years. Our technology also produces another product called liquid slurry, which is an excellent organic fertilizer. We provide soil testing solution, check organic carbon levels of soil and help farmers to produce good quality compost to improve soil health. We work directly with local farmers for fresh vegetables and empowering women through the supply chain, from farmers, employees, to resellers and customers. Our vision to nourish children in the world to be brightest generation with nutritious food products from vegetables.

DeyHaat is a for-profit social enterprise providing clean, reliable, and affordable energy access to last-mile micro-enterprises located in rural India through solar pico-grids.

DeyHaat helps rural micro-enterprises to increase their revenue generation opportunity by extending their evening business hours by 20%, while reducing their energy expenses to 50%, thereby improving overall livelihoods for vulnerable communities.

Our newest innovation is a patented plastic free disposable diaper complete with full delivery and collection service with a focus on developing economies. Not only does this stop plastic pollution at the source, it allows diapers to be collected and composted into nutrient rich soil, replenishing the earth. Beijing Vevolution Technology Limited was established in May 2018. The company’s mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste. Since inception, Beijing Vevolution Tech has secured two rounds of investment, totaling 8 million RMB, and its app Clear Plate to tackle food waste, has reached over 5 million users.

EduCourse is an intelligent future education platform for STEAM Learning using AI and AR launched in June of 2020.

Co-Founders Mutiara Hikma, has more than 6 years of experience in global education startups, and Permata has experience in deep tech and was named as Alibaba’s MVP in 2020. Together, they are innovating the future of education through the STEAM Based-Learning method with the blended learning system, utilising AI and AR as a unique delivery method.

Since inception, they have succeeded in enrolling more than 14,000 students in 13 months, with popular courses such as Coding for Kids, English STEAM, and World Languages.

Glink is a key population-led private clinic and social enterprise that is leading the way as a sustainable HIV service provider for men who have sex with men and transgender women in Vietnam. Founded in 2009 as a self-help group aiming to bring more inclusive and equitable health care to the gay community in Vietnam, we now operate a network of seven private clinics with a mix of subsidized, free, and commercial offerings. At our clinics, clients can access comprehensive HIV prevention, treatment, and testing services; sexually transmitted infection and viral hepatitis testing and treatment; mental health counselling; gender-affirming and non-communicable disease care, and cosmetic services. We are also advancing a self-financed foundation, through which we will offer peer-to-peer learning and mentorship to inspire the LGBTIQA+ community in health care sector business development and build capacity for other community-based organizations to expand their own business models.
