Resolve Foundation Ltd

Resolve is a new nonprofit organization with the mission to empower future community leaders for an inclusive Hong Kong. Resolve’s vision is for an inclusive Hong Kong, where every voice has a say in its future and every person can bring positive social change to the community. Resolve stands for Rights, Equality, Solidarity, Organization, Leadership, Voice, Empowerment. We invest in emerging leaders, particularly from historically marginalised and underrepresented communities through an innovativesocial justice fellowship that triangulates leadership development, human rights education and campaigning skills. The program includes group workshops, one-to-one mentoring and fellow collaboration on the changing theme of each year’s fellowship. Resolve employs an interdisciplinary approach that breaks down silos and is innovative in the NGO sector. We strongly believe that it is possible to achieve a more equitable society in Hong Kong, also thanks to our program.

BRIDGE Institute

The Bridge Institute is a charity that brings leaders of government, business, and civil society together to make breakthroughs in thinking and action on the world’s most pressing challenges. Over the last 15 years, the organisation has been working on challenges such as removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere (UAE), the combatting of human trafficking and gender-based violence (South Asia), enabling health equality (the Philippines), inspiring the world to adopt a plant-rich food system (global), education reform (United Kingdom), carbon sequestration though oceans (Europe), peacebuilding (South Asia), sustainable food (South-East Asia) and the refugee crisis (United Kingdom).

The Bridge Institute believes the world’s biggest challenges require whole systems to come together, through a carefully coordinated process which lasts the long-haul.

Global Fund for Children

GFC transforms the lives and futures of some of the world s most vulnerable children. First we find cutting edge NGOs working in their community, making big changes with very little money. They become our grassroots partners. We provide bottom up support and financial assistance to help them grow. Last year we supported 210 organisations in 53 countries across the globe. We work with each partner for up to eight years. We build long-term relationships with our grassroots partners, offering local expert coaching and guidance on organisational management, programme development, performance metrics and more. We ensure our partners have opportunities to develop new skills. We provide partners with funds to undertake strategic planning processes, attend conferences and visit other grassroots partners to share expertise and gain training in areas such as fundraising and information technology. We connect partners to their peers and bring them together for regional Knowledge Exchanges professional GFC run conferences where grassroots leaders share best practice, forge strong networks and learn about broader issues affecting children in their communities. We open doors to the broader philanthropic world, connecting our partners to other people and institutions to help them gain outside funding, awards and recognition.
