Yayasan Kemanusiaan Ibu Pertiwi (YKIP) is a Bali-based nonprofit organization. Originally set up to assist in the recovery efforts after the Bali bombing in Oct 2002 and from then, its mission has expanded to span a diverse range of educational programs by focusing on our primary aim: improving the lives of marginalized communities in Bali by providing educational scholarships to children from disadvantaged families. Our main activities are: (a) KEMBALI Program, provides comprehensive and sustainable education assistance to students from disadvantaged families to complete their 12-year education, incl. cash assistance and apportionment of school packages, quarterly per year; (b) KIDS Program, provides educational assistance for children of the Bali bombing survivors to enable the children to finish their education through university; (c) Vocational and University Program, provides educational assistance to outstanding KEMBALI graduates to pursue higher education degree/diploma.
