Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA)

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency, also known as ADRA, is the global humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist church-part of the 20 million strong Adventist community, with hundreds of thousands of churches globally and the world’s largest integrated healthcare and education network.

ADRA delivers relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 118 countries – regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, gender or religious association. By partnerships with local communities, organizations, and governments, ADRA is able to deliver culturally relevant programs and build local capability for sustainable change.

The ADRA Asia Regional Office provides administration and programmatic support to the 17 country offices in Asia including Bangladesh, Cambodia, China (Hong Kong), India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam. In Asia, ADRA is able to improve the quality of life for millions through 11 key impact sectors catering to Education, Agriculture and Livestock, Children and Youth, Women and Girls, Disasters and Emergencies, Food, Livelihoods, Health and Nutrition, WASH, Refugees and IDPs.
