Makesense is an international organization, supported by the likes of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Obama Foundation, that inspires and empowers citizens, entrepreneurs, and organizations to build an inclusive and sustainable society together. In the last 10 years, Makesense has enabled more than 200,000 citizens to take concrete actions on issues they care about, accelerated the projects of 8,000 social entrepreneurs and social innovations, and accompanied over 200 private and public organizations to be more involved in social impact. Makesense’s regional headquarters for operations in Asia is based in Metro Manila, Philippines, and actively operates in 12 cities across the country on a wide range of programs to train citizens, entrepreneurs, and institutions to 21st century innovation skills, accompany the development of impactful social startup solutions and build coalitions of public and private actors on key advocacies.
