The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), launched in 2012, mobilizes global scientific and technological expertise to promote practical problem solving for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement. The SDSN was established by and works under the auspices of the United Nations Secretary-General. The SDSN supports the implementation of the SDGs at local, national, and global scales, in collaboration with UN agencies, multilateral financing institutions, the private sector, governments, and civil society. A Leadership Council of approximately 100 global leaders oversees the SDSN. Professor Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University is President of the SDSN, leading a Secretariat hosted by the SDSN Association, a non-profit organization with offices in New York, Paris, and Kuala Lumpur. The SDSN’s work is organized around 3 priorities: National & Regional SDSNs, Research & Policy Tools , and The SDG Academy.
