Rabo Foundation is the corporate foundation of Rabobank: the global leader in food and agriculture lending. Rabo Foundation invests in the self-reliance of smallholder farmers by working with organisations in over twenty countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

In Asia, Rabo Foundation partners with a broad portfolio of small and medium enterprises, microfinance institutions, cooperatives, NGO’s and multinationals to support and expand sustainable production of coffee, dairy, rice, fisheries and many more food and agricultural products. Working capital, trade finance facilities, investment loans or long-term loans can be provided, where needed supported by technical assistance. Rabo Foundation also work with local financiers and co-finances, for example, by issuing guarantees. In addition, new technological developments and digitisation solutions are explored to help serve smallholders farmers even more effectively.
