We are “149 Technologies”, a For-Profit Social Enterprise aimed at improving access and affordability of women’s health solutions for low-to-middle income countries (LMICs) and low-resource cost settings by curating promising start-ups and supporting their success through licensing and/or distribution, sourcing funding, and expert shared services. In essence, we are both an accelerator and go-to-market partner.
We have 3 core technology-enabled service offerings:
- Distribution and networks: pre-establishing relationships, technology platforms and playbooks designed for women’s health along the menstrual hygiene pathway, that enable the rapid onboarding for start-ups for their products and services:
- Funding: accelerating the start-ups’ awareness of and access to funding through our own GenAI tool called “ScoutFast”, and partnering with compliance platforms to ensure their efficient and compliant access and use of those funds:
- Expert Shared Services (e.g. market access, regulatory, clinical, etc.): lowering the cost and increasing the speed of start-ups getting to market through the use playbooks and technology platforms that enable the start-up and the experts to coordinate their activities in an efficient and cost-effective way.
