AISECT is India’s leading Social Enterprise that works in the areas of Skill Development, Higher Education, Financial Inclusion, e-governance, Incubator and other ICT-based services to bring about an inclusive change in the semi-urban and rural areas of the country. Established in 1985, the Bhopal-headquartered and National office in Delhi organization has been untiringly reaching out to the remotest corners of the country for the past 39 years to empower people, generate employment for the youth and unfold entrepreneurial initiatives. It has an unrivalled and robust network of over 30,000 centres across 28 states and 5 Union Territories, 16 State offices, and 32 Regional offices, AISECT has gradually built its network at the grassroots level with aligning its mission to 6 Sustainable Development Goals.
Our Impact and Reach
Transforming Lives: AISECT has impacted over 3 million students with skill development programs, trained 2.6 million individuals for job readiness, and created employment for over 1,00,000 people. AISECT has executed employment-linked skills training, digital inclusion, an entrepreneurship development training program (EDP), digital and financial literacy training for women, STEM learning for girls, and various capacity-building programs for women and youth. Through Our Incubator support program, we have supported 100+ start-ups across thematic areas and geographies.
Entrepreneurship and Women’s Empowerment: Our model has generated over 12,000 rural entrepreneurs and created employment for more than 50,000 people. For over three decades, we have facilitated ecosystems for women entrepreneurs and workforce development. These entrepreneurs are offering a variety of services including Education & Skilling, Placement & Apprenticeships, Financial Inclusion & Insurance products, G2C & B2C services.
CSR-Focused Initiatives and Partnerships: AISECT has partnered with various PSUs, Corporate Philanthropy, and bilateral agencies like UNDP, UNICEF, Tata Trust, Microsoft, Accenture, ITC, Nasscom foundation, AM/NS, Samsung, GIZ, IOCL, Vedanta, and 40+ organizations to execute their CSR programs, impacting more than a million lives.
