CGEP, an initiative of the Clinton Foundation, is a social business builder that brings entrepreneurial solutions to global poverty. CGEP builds from scratch and manages local agribusinesses that work with smallholder farmers and fishers. CGEP works to improve their livelihoods by providing the tools they need – from training and financing to technology and innovation – and connecting them to markets where they can prosper and work themselves out
of poverty.

CGEP’s agribusinesses in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Southeast Asia have impacted the lives of thousands of smallholder producers and producer communities through increased incomes and new livelihoods. CGEP is planning to scope, build and scale multiple high-impact agribusinesses in Southeast Asia over the next five years.
