Over 800 million children in economically and socially difficult situations do not have the opportunity to develop essential skills and qualities, making them ill-equipped to become responsible and employable citizens. The UN calls this crisis out with a need to develop global citizenship skills under SDG #4.
Enabling Leadership is a non-profit with entities in India, the USA, Netherlands, UK and Singapore that works with children with unequal access to opportunities and experiences that prepare them to be tomorrow’s leaders. Our creative and fun programs use music, football, and Lego teach to children leadership and life-skills first-hand. We use a unique leadership framework which includes problem solving, creativity, analytical thinking, collaboration, ethics, and accountability. Each program uses group-based learning where children interact, collaborate, co-create, and finally perform at concerts and showcases, and compete in football league matches.
This unique experiential pedagogy is especially effective for children in their formative years (9-15 years). Our curricula teach children to be role models who contribute positively to their communities, and global citizens who care about making a difference in the world.
We work with 9,000 children in 125 schools in India and Cambodia. Our Mission is to impact 1 Million Children by 2030.
