At GDI South Asia, we build ventures that reimagine systems — from agriculture and climate to livelihoods and public health — to improve outcomes for vulnerable communities across the region. Rooted in deep local insight and connected to GDI’s global network, we design and scale high-impact solutions by leveraging and deploying strategic resources, talent, tools, and learning across borders.
We partner with diverse local and global leaders – entrepreneurs/innovators, domestic and global donors, corporates, civil society, national/local governments, and academia – towards ecosystem-wide solutions that work for everyone. Within our unique regional context, this is not a simple task.
Therefore, we work closely with our partners through the venture lifecycle — from seeding bold ideas to scaling proven models. This includes strategy design, fundraising, finance and operational support, ecosystem building, coordination, and leadership coaching. Our engagements typically last 24–36 months, long enough to test, learn, pivot, and grow.
