Ginkgo Foundation, founded on July 20th in 2015, is a private foundation registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Beijing. It was founded by Ginkgo Fellows, Narada Foundation, Zhejiang Dunhe Foundation, XinHe Foundation (formerly XinPing Foundation), and NPO Research Center in Renmin University of China.
Our mission is to nurture a strong, diverse, and vibrant core community of social entrepreneurs that will help catalyze positive social change and development in Chinese society. We envision a world where each individual is able to live with dignity and freedom of choice, where each community is able to self-organize in the face of challenges, and where human race and nature thrive in harmony.
