Good Return works across the Asia-Pacific region to enable those living in poverty to achieve economic empowerment. We work in partnership with low-income households, financial service providers, NGOs, national associations and financial regulators to research, design and implement game-changing initiatives for the poor. Good Return works with and for those living in poverty, particularly women, who are seeking more meaningful economic participation. The outcomes we seek to achieve are mindful money and business management, and access to responsible finance for those living in poverty and small businesses that employ them. Good Return has a field presence in Australia, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, Philippines, Solomon Islands amp; Tonga. Local partnerships are core to Good Return’s approach. The 3 key program areas are: – Financial education and consumer empowerment – Impact Investment – eLearning for Responsible Inclusive Finance Good Return has full accreditation with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and is compliant with the ACFID Code of Conduct.
Good Return is the Network Convenor for the Frontier Brokers Network, which comprises 7 impact investment firms, including AVPN members Palladium, Brightlight, Athena Global Alliance, and IIX. Each of these organisations adopt a gender lens investing approach, assessing gender dynamics, and measurably addressing gender inequality – in capital markets, their own investment processes, and in local contexts where social entrepreneurs are working.
