Harpswell’s vision is to advance young women leaders in Southeast Asia with education, training and a supportive network. We envision a new generation of women leaders who create and inspire positive change.
Our programs include:
- Cambodian Womens’ Leadership initiative: We run 2 residential leadership centres in Phnom Penh where Cambodia’s brightest young women from rural provinces live, learn and grow whilst attending university.
- ASEAN Womens’ Leadership Summit: We host an annual 5 month hybrid leadership training program for accomplished young women aged 25-35 from the 10 ASEAN nations and Nepal. Leaders participate virtually before gathering for 1 week at the Summit in Penang, Malaysia to conclude their learnings and strengthen the networks developed over the program.
- Leadership Resident Program: We recruit talented young women from around the world to live, teach and mentor in Harpswell’s Cambodia program for 4-6 months.
- Global Scholars Program: We provide 2-4 exceptional students from our Cambodia Leadership Program the opportunity to further their studies abroad. Currently 4 of our scholars are studying in the US at one of our partner universities.
