HKGFA, a non-for-profit organization, to help to position Hong Kong as a leading global green finance centre by creating a platform to mobilize both public and private sector resources and talents to provide policy recommendations to the Hong Kong government and regulators to scale up the green and sustainable finance market, to promote the adoption of green finance and responsible investment principles and practices by financial institutions, and to facilitate innovations in green and sustainable finance products and tools. HKGFA also aims to provide greater access and opportunities for Hong Kong’s financial community to participate in green and sustainable financing transactions locally, in mainland China and in markets along the Belt & Road.
