There is increasing evidence that human health, environmental sustainability, and animal well-being are closely interconnected. Animal welfare is a cause that qualifies under CSR law yet gets a paltry 0.46% of India’s ~30,000 crore annual CSR pool.
India Animal Fund (IAF) is India’s first fund-raising platform to encourage effective giving for animals. The platform aims to bring together high-value donors, highly efficient NGOs and a long-term, solution-based mindset to reduce animal suffering. The organisation has been endorsed by several prominent personalities in India including his Holiness the Dalai Lama, Mr. Ratan Tata, Mr. Amitabh Kant, Mr. Rajiv Memani, Mr. Satish Reddy, Mr. Suresh Narayanan & several other corporate leaders.
Including work done by the founder’s personal foundation, India Animal Fund has deployed and committed > USD 2.5 Million over the last 3 years via 25 organizations. This has impacted hundreds of thousands of animals while developing over 30 leaders for the movement.
