The International Computer Science Education Consortium (ICSEC) is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing computer science and AI education through international collaboration. Our mission is to create a world where every student is empowered through education to thrive in the digital era.
ICSEC brings together educators, policymakers, researchers, nonprofit leaders, and industry partners from across Asia and beyond to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and develop practical solutions for improving digital and AI literacy. We believe that many of the challenges facing education today—including AI readiness, digital skills gaps, and equitable access to learning opportunities—cannot be solved by any single country or organization alone.
Our activities include organizing international conferences, facilitating study groups and professional learning communities, supporting collaborative projects, and promoting mutual learning among practitioners working in diverse educational contexts. We place particular emphasis on connecting leaders from countries and regions that are often underrepresented in global education discussions.
By fostering a trusted international community and encouraging the exchange of ideas, evidence, and practices, ICSEC helps members learn from one another and adapt successful approaches to their own local contexts. Through these efforts, we aim to strengthen education systems, expand access to quality computer science and AI education, and prepare learners for the opportunities and challenges of the digital future.
