All people have the right to make fundamental decisions about their bodies and health. Further, this right is a critical pillar for the growth and development of nations and regions. Ipas works with institutions and communities across Asia, Africa, and the Americas to ensure that reproductive health services are available and accessible to all. In a sustainable reproductive health ecosystem, people have the information they need to make reproductive health decisions, there’s community and health-system support for healthcare access, and laws and policies support full bodily autonomy. In Asia, Ipas has offices in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal, and Pakistan. We work across the region to improve the quality and availability of reproductive healthcare, improve reproductive health knowledge among communities, especially for youth, and ensure that reproductive health is included in humanitarian response.
