Leap 201 is a Singapore-registered charity committed to uplifting communities at the bottom of the socio-economic pyramid across Singapore and Southeast Asia. Started by Mr Michael Lien to help victims of the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, Leap201 plays a unique role as a catalyst for high-impact change.
Through our venture philanthropy approach, we stretch every donor dollar to create lasting impact by providing social loans to early-stage social enterprises in the region.
Since 2020, Leap201 catalyses research, pilots programmes, and undertakes policy advocacy to improve the lives of lower-income families in Singapore.
