Wadhwani Initiative for Sustainable Healthcare (WISH), is the flagship program of Lords Education & Health Society (LEHS), whose mission is to scale innovations for creating an equitable healthcare system and make quality primary healthcare available and accessible to the underserved populations. Since 2015, LEHS|WISH has been augmenting India’s primary healthcare service-delivery, and contributing towards achieving the SDGs by helping the Government of India’s National Health Mission and the state governments of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi in delivering comprehensive healthcare services. In pursuing the mission to make quality primary healthcare accessible and available to all, LEHS|WISH has aligned with and strengthened 24 Rural Primary Health Centres with its 99 sub-centres and 8 Urban Primary Health Centers (UPHCs) in Rajasthan; 53 Urban Primary Health Centers (UPHCs), 10 Technology enabled Health and Wellness Centers and 6 Smart Clinics in Tea Garden Estates of Assam; Tele-medicine units across all 51 districts and 26 Sanjeevani Clinics (urban health interventions with a last-mile service delivery perspective) in Madhya Pradesh; 482 Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics (AAMCs) in Delhi and 39 Urban Wards across 12 UPHCs in Uttar Pradesh.
