MiracleFeet’s mission is to eliminate disability caused by untreated clubfoot – one of the most common birth defects globally – by ensuring every child has access to simple, low-cost treatment that can completely correct it. Clubfoot affects 1 in 800 babies worldwide. In high-income countries, nearly every child receives treatment, but in low-income settings, most do not. Without care, children face physical disability that leads to stigma, exclusion, and lifelong poverty. By providing access to an inexpensive, non-surgical treatment called the Ponseti method, MiracleFeet helps children walk, run, and thrive – unlocking a lifetime of opportunity.
We pursue this mission through a partner-led, health-systems integration model that strengthens national capacity for sustainable care delivery. Leveraging proven tools, technology, and strong government and NGO partnerships, MiracleFeet has supported treatment for over 120,000 children across 38 countries. In each country, we aim to reach at least 70% of children born with clubfoot before their first birthday – the global benchmark for national coverage – and to embed clubfoot care into public health systems for long-term sustainability.
At roughly $500 per child, treatment generates an estimated $130,000 in lifetime income – an extraordinarily cost-effective return that transforms individual lives while strengthening local health systems for future generations.
