We provide funding, accelerators, training, and education to help diverse entrepreneurs build a 100% clean energy future, from green skills to clean energy adoption and distribution. NEX is disrupting the energy ecosystem in the markets that will have the greatest energy demand in the next decade and offering an alternative clean energy future with equity at the center.
To ensure that the clean energy transition is just, we must invest in entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities and increase access to employment and green skills training, particularly for women, youth, and underrepresented communities in the Global South. NEX aims to support 100,000 clean energy entrepreneurs by 2030 to advance a just transition around the globe.
We started in California in 2004, and now have 20 years of expertise in growing clean energy entrepreneurs and building inclusive innovation ecosystems. Today, NEX operates an ecosystem of 42 programs in Indonesia, Nigeria, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Uganda, India, China, Singapore, US, UAE and Australia.
Since 2016, we have accelerated 1,195 startups, supported more than 8,800 entrepreneurs, created 7,836 jobs and provided $64M in grants and funds.
